Gilles BERGAMETTI

G. Bergametti is a senior scientist at Centre National de Recherche Scientifique (CNRS). He is specialized in atmospheric chemistry measurements with a special attention to aerosols. He was in charge until 2004 of the atmospheric modeling group in LISA nd is now deputy director of the laboratory. He has published more than 70 papers in peer reviewed international journals. He is or was involved in many European projects dealing with aerosols (Meduse, AMMA) or gaseous pollutants (GEMS). He was member of the European Community Science Panel on Atmospheric Composition Change and was President of the French committee on Ocean/Atmosphere Sciences at INSU (Institut National des Sciences de l’Univers/CNRS).
