The topic of Dr. Stalport’s researches is focused on the identification of mineral biosignatures (called biominerals), the extraction of organics from natural samples and their preservation over geological scales in extraterrestrial environments simulated by laboratory experiments. The main extraterrestrial object of these studies concerns the planet Mars and its surface/subsurface.
