  • Synthesis of inorganic nanoparticles  (metals, oxides, carbides, sulfides, hydroxides, phosphates, etc.) by chemical route (polyol process).
  • Preparation of aqueous based-colloids for biomedecine (MRI, Hyperthermia, targeting, etc.), self-organized surfaces and nanocristalline films for magnetic recording and nanostructured ceramics for hyperfrequency application.
  • Chemical and physical characterization of materials (X-ray diffraction, X-ray and Optical absorption spectroscopies, Mossbauer spectrometry, Electron microscopy, magnetometry, etc.).
  • Elucidation of the mechanisms of particles formation in polyols.
