Jean-Yves Piquemal is currently working in the "Nanomatériaux" team and is interested in the preparation of functional materials for magnetic as well as for catalysis applications. The guiding line of these studies lies in the preparation and use of original metal precursors (such as low-nuclearity transition metal peroxo complexes or long-chain metal carboxylates (Co, Ni)) which allow a control of the crystalline growth step and, in some cases, to obtain a control of the particle shape.
